Environmental Statement:
Climate Protection and Sustainability

Since 2009: For normal office use (photocopying, printing etc.) we purchase only recycled paper, most of which bears the Blue Angel ecolabel. A4 paper used for special purposes (such as card) is in most cases certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC).
Since 2010: All the electricity we consume comes from a sustainable supplier of electricity produced exclusively from green sources, using only water, wind and solar power (but no biomass); since 01/01/15 our supplier has been Greenpeace. All our office equipment is fitted with separate switches so that no energy is wasted by leaving appliances on stand-by. The office lighting can also be controlled by individual switches as required.
Since 2012: As for our heating fuel, we support the proWindgas energy storage system by buying all our natural gas from Green Planet Energy (formerly: Greenpeace Energy), which converts wind energy into hydrogen which is then fed into the existing gas grid (for details please see "Links" page).
